December 2011: "OK to Ask" Brighton Award Winners
In 2011 Brighton and Hove Local Involvement Network (BH LINk) launched the 'OK to Ask' Award, encouraging people in the city to vote for the pharmacist they felt most deserved the accolade.
Nasim Ladak, the pharmacist owner at Fields Pharmacy was nominated, in this public campaign by Brighton and Hove Local Involvement Network (LINk) as the second most friendly and helpful pharmacist in Brighton and Hove.
Part of the campaign – entitled “OK to Ask” - was also about raising awareness of the valuable contribution pharmacists make to the health of the local population and to encourage the public to use their pharmacies more. Nasim was presented the certificate and the plaque at a ceremony in December 2011.
